Together with the Pro version, the official presentation of the Honor 60 took place in China. Like their predecessors, this new 5G model boasts a very striking design and some specifications that, although they belong together to the premium mid-range, in some sections are more typical of the high-end range, Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 120 Hz display, and a 108MP camera are some of them. Let’s take a look at the full specification and features of Honor 60.
The Honor 60 retains the sleek design style of its predecessor, because, the device is 7.98 mm thick and weighs 179 grams, while its front and rear panels have a symmetrical curved design with 58° curvatures enhancing the grip.
The device comes with a 6.67-inch OLED screen, which offers Full HD + 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, with a multi-touch system that supports up to 10 points. Supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, this screen with a rounded corner design offers a DCI-P3 color gamut to users.
On the surface of the lower part of the screen, there is an optical fingerprint reader, and in the upper part of the panel, there is a hole for the front camera lens.
The flat model of the series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. The 8-core processor, which goes through the 6nm fabrication process, meets the graphics need with the Adreno 642L GPU. Ranging between 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage options.
In terms of optics, the Honor 60 boasts a 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera on the back. It is handled by MagicUI 5.0, which is based on Android 11. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel AI super-sensing lens.
In terms of battery life, the device packs a built-in 4800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. The company touts the fast charging to deliver 50% charge in 15 minutes and a full charge in just 45 minutes. The device runs on Magic UI 5.0 OS, which has greatly improved privacy and security, fast and easy-to-use, operating performance, and many other aspects compared with the previous generation.
In terms of price, the Honor 60 8GB+128GB version is priced at 2699 yuan ($424), the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 2,999 yuan ($470), and the 12GB+256GB is priced at 3299 yuan ($518). The model will go on sale from December 10 and it comes in four colors. Currently, it is not yet known when this new model will hit the global market, but it took several months for the Honor 50.
