The Honor 50 series conference will be held at 19:30 on June 16th. At that time, a variety of new products of Honor 50 SE, Honor 50, and Honor 50 Pro will be launched.
Earlier news broke that the Honor 50 Pro 5G is an upgraded version of the Honor 50, including the 778G 5G chip and the same rear four cameras.
It is reported that the Honor 50 Pro is equipped with a 100W wired super fast charge, using a “single-cell” private protocol
The Honor 50Pro uses a 32MP main camera and a 12MP auxiliary camera on the front, and the display is slightly larger. The machine is equipped with a 6.72-inch AMOLED screen that supports 100W fast charging, but the battery capacity is reduced to 4000mAh.
It takes about 25 minutes to fully charge the Honor 50 Pro and supports 100W fast charging. The device measures 163.46mm × 74.66mm × 8.05mm and weighs 187 grams. All models will run Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11.
According to the news from Weibo blogger, the 100W of the Honor 50 series still uses the [“single-cell” fast charging solution], inheriting the advantages of the previous Honor fast charging, which is safe and efficient. The structure of a single battery cell and multiple tabs can effectively reduce battery loss and extend battery life. Thanks to the research and demonstration of the Honor R&D team, the agreement is also private and can be backward compatible with the previous Huawei/Honor fast charge solution.
