Huawei sub-brand honored on Weibo announces Honor 20S release date. It also shares Vmall Links where users can register their interest in the phone. The launch date for the phone is set for September 4 and it will go on sale the same day at 9 pm local time.
In the poster, the smartphone is called Beauty of the Night, so it is likely that one of its main features concerns its photographic capabilities in low light conditions. The promotional poster also showing the back which has been seen to represent a unique gradient panel finish in blue.
The phone is considered to have a triple camera setup and no fingerprint sensor is insight. An Honor 20 series phone has been listed on TENAA recently and this phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The TENAA list with model number AL-AL50 / TL50 recommends Honor phones with a 6.26-inch full-HD + screen (1080 × 2340 pixels), an octa-core SoC running at 2.6 GHz, up to 12GB RAM, Storage capacity up to 256GB and runs on Android Pie.
It will have a triple rear camera setup – with a 48MP main camera, another 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor. At the front, the phone offers a 32MP sensor and it is equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor.
It measures 154,25 × 73,97 × 7,87mm and weighs 172 grams. Finally, the phone will come with a 3650mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. We’re not sure if this TENAA listing belongs to the Honor 20S, but most of the specs match the Honor 20, suggesting that this speculation is correct.
