HONOR is preparing to launch another 20 series smartphone, specifically the HONOR 20 Youth Edition (Lite). As “shown” by the invitation to the press, on October 22 the aforementioned smartphone will be presented which will mount an edge-to-edge display with a hole for the front camera and a fingerprint reader integrated in the display.
The company has appointed Chinese actor Bai Jingting as the Product Design Officer for the Honor 20 Lite. The below-shown poster reveals that the handset will come in dark green and light blue-red gradient colors.
According to the TENAA certification, the new HONOR 20 Youth Edition will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution, an unspecified 2.2 GHz dual-core processor (thought to be the Kirin 810), 4 / 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB of storage expandable via microSD and a 4000mAh battery equipped with a 20W charger with fast charge support.
The distinctive element of the new HONOR 20 Youth Edition is certainly the photographic sector. This will see the arrival of a triple module with a 48MP main camera with a Sony IMX586 f / 1.8 aperture sensor, an 8MP ultra-angular camera, and another 2MP camera probably used for macro photography.
As for the operating system, we will find the classic Android 9 Pie with EMUI customization 9.1.1. The HONOR 20 Youth Edition (Lite) is now up for reservations through Vmall. The pricing of the smartphone will be confirmed on October 22 through its unveil event. But the specs make us think that this is a smartphone designed for the mid-market segment, so we believe a price lower than $400.
