The HOMTOM previously released an addition to H series the HOMTOM HT16, which was specifically aimed at the summer bearing cool colours and the design more in favour of the youngsters. Well the device is out and we are ready to take it for a ride, so hop on
DESIGN
The design of the phone is quite unique aimed at the younger generation we can understand that, the phone is lightweight and handy, it has soft flowing line segments on the back and slight curve gives you a good grip plus it looks aesthetic. Great to look at and very comfy to handle. For uniqueness HOMTOM added their Logo in vertical way in the line of Camera and Flash something first time we have seen.
AnTuTu
The phone has a MediaTek MTK6580 which essentially is budget range processor and can be compared to the likes of Snapdragon 400, but it gives you decent preformance for the sking price and scores about 20000+ on the AnTuTu benchmarking
HARWARE
The phone features a MediaTek MTK6580 Quadcore processor clocked at 1.3Ghz.It has 1GB RAM and 8GB of ROM , but 8GB is not enough in today’s world so you have a microSD card giving you additioanlly 64GB expand-ability. It features a 5.0″ HD Multitouch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 providing good viewing angels also.
BATTERY
Coming to the battery, I’m surprised to see that HOMTOM is providing such a huge capacity battery in only $50. The capacity of Battery is 3000 mAh which can be found in many other chinese phones also, so its a great offer in low cost. A 3000mAh battery is sufficient for 2 – 3 Days moderate use.
CAMERA
At the Back, there is 8 MP SONY Camera, which captures high-quality photos and videos without any problem with Flashlight for use capturing images in low light also.In the front, there is 5 MP camera for capturing stunning selfies. As it is a budget device not much is expected from the camera but still its useful for decent photography and selfies.
As far as the pricing is concerned, As you already know it is priced just under $50 and you can find it here HOMTOM HT16.
