Today, Huawei HarmonyOS officially announced a new batch of HarmonyOS 3 beta upgrade models, including Huawei nova 6/nova 6 5G, Huawei nova 7 5G/nova 7 Pro 5G.
According to reports, public beta registration only supports the registration of compatible models in the My Huawei (or Member Center) App on the mobile phone and does not support computer registration. Before participating in the public beta, My Huawei (or Member Center) needs to be updated to the latest version (My Huawei 12.1.10.300 and above; Member Center 10.2.7.301 and above).
It is worth mentioning that the processor of Huawei’s nova 6 series is the Kirin 990, and the processor of the nova 7 series is the Kirin 985. The former will be released in 2019, and the latter will be released in 2020. Thanks to Huawei’s optimization, after upgrading to Hongmeng OS 3, these Kirin veterans can fight again after being resurrected with full blood.
It is reported that HarmonyOS 3 classifies, organizes, and reserves the free memory space so that the applications that are running or will be running in the foreground have priority in obtaining free memory.
Compared with the previous generation, the device equipped with HarmonyOS 3 has increased the application response speed by 7%, the application operation completion speed has increased by 4.0%, and the file copy speed has increased by 4.2%.
According to the latest official data, the number of Huawei devices equipped with Harmony OS has reached 320 million, an increase of 113% over the same period last year.\
