Earlier this month, Google launched the Google Pixel 4a mid-range phone. At the event, the company also confirmed that it will release the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G phones on the market this fall. Shortly after the event, it was announced that Google would launch the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G in early October. But source from Jon Prosser says both phones will debut on Sept. 30.
According to new revelations, the Pixel 5 5G will be unveiled on September 30 in both black and green versions. The Pixel 4A 5G will only be available in black and the white version will not be available until a bit later in October.
Recent news has claimed that the Pixel 5 will be a large-screen device, but will not be called the Pixel 5 XL. The phone is likely to have a large 6.67-inch screen and is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is likely to be supplied by Samsung or BOE, and the device is expected to have excellent performance.
Google’s Pixel 5 is expected to carry a Snapdragon 765GB chip and 8GB of RAM. The user may be provided with 128GB of internal storage. Equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, the device costs $699, or 4,827 yuan.
It’s not clear if the Pixel 4a 5G will carry a Snapdragon 765G or other chips. The price of the Pixel 4A 5G will be 499 US dollars, or 3,446 yuan.
