Google adopted an unusual strategy to prevent leaks involving Pixel 4. To announce the phone, which is scheduled to launch in October this year, the company has released an official image showing the device’s design. But it seems that even this was not enough to stop those interested in the Google smartphone.
On the morning of this Friday (14th), 9to5Google has published the first photos taken of a lucky user who already has Google’s new Pixel 4 in their hands. In them, as expected, the appearance revealed by Google only a few days ago is confirmed.
In the images, taken by a “filtering” that has preferred to remain anonymous, you can see how the appearance of the back matches the one revealed by Google in its official renders, despite the fact that this time the design of the phone which seems to be covered by a protective case.
In this way, we see how the photographic module formed by two cameras and an extra sensor is located in the upper left, in a large square-shaped protrusion that many have been quick to compare with the future iPhone XI whose arrival is scheduled to September.
Beyond the information provided by the person in charge of capturing the images, many more details have not been revealed regarding the new generation of the Pixel series. Yes, it has been confirmed that the photos have been captured in the city of London and that by the size of the device in the hands of the person who used it, it is very likely that it is the variant with last name XL.
Still, according to the source, the smartphone kept the dual selfie cameras and would have a big “forehead” on the front. More details should be revealed over the next few months as the release approaches.
