Igeekphone previously shared photos of the actual pink Pixel 9, which also matches the previously leaked Pixel Buds Pro 2, with the internal color codenamed “Peony” and the expected name “Raspberry,” which can’t be confirmed at this time.
Igeekphone previously reported that the 128GB version of the Pixel 9 Pro XL is also equipped with 16GB memory, which means that Google may use 16GB memory as the standard of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The reason for Google’s decision may be to meet the demand for memory for the large number of AI features on the phone.
In addition to large memory, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will also feature Samsung’s latest Exynos 5400 baseband chip, which is an upgraded version of the Exynos 5300 (used by the Pixel 8 series) and supports faster 5G network speeds.
Samsung says the chip is based on the 3GPP Release 17 standard and is capable of achieving peak data transfer speeds of up to 14.79Gbps. Samsung may have chosen the Exynos 5400 for satellite communications and other considerations, and it is reported that the entire Pixel 9 series will be equipped with this baseband chip.
There are four Pixel 9 models
There are four models in the Pixel 9 series, in addition to the Pixel 9 standard edition, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL three models, there are Pixel 9 Pro Fold folding screen phones.
The Pixel 9 will be the successor to the Pixel 8, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will be the successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro will be a phone with similar specifications to the XL but the size of the Pixel 9, The Pixel Fold 2 is a foldable phone.
The Pixel 9’s screen size is 6.24 inches, the Pixel 9 Pro’s is 6.34 inches, and the Pixel 9 XL’s is 6.73 inches.
The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL have three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, while the Pixel 9 has a main camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition, all three Pixel 9 phones are equipped with the Tensor G4 SoC.
