Google’s biggest developer conference of the year was Google I/O, where a slew of new services and upgrades to existing ones were unveiled.
However, Google’s size doesn’t allow it to announce all of its projects at I/O, so the company plans to host three more developer summits: Android developer Summit, Chrome Developer Summit, and Firebase.
Android Developer Summit
In a blog post, Google confirmed that the Android Development Summit will take place on October 27, 2021, over two days.
The event kicks off at 10am on the 27th at the Android Show, a tech keynote that summarizes the latest news from Android developers. The keynote will be followed by more than 30 sessions covering a range of topics. Since the event will be online, Google will answer questions posted online with the hashtag “AskAndroid.”
The theme of this year’s event is “Great Apps across Devices,” and Google revealed new development tools, apis and technologies to help developers create better apps across devices.
