With Android 12 scheduled for release later this year, Google plans to introduce a new notification that notify users when an app accesses the clipboard, according to XDA-Developers.
In iOS 14, Apple has introduced a small banner on the top of the iPhone and iPad, IGEEKPHONE has learned. IOS 14 notifies users when an app accesses the contents of the Clipboard. Clipboard access notifications are one of the new privacy features in iOS 14 Edition.
Screenshots of the XDA exposure show that, unlike iOS and iPadOS 14, this new feature will be optional. Google says that when enabled, Show Clipboard Access will “display a message when your application accesses your copied text, image, or other content.”
Clipboard access notifications have proven beneficial to users since the launch of iOS 14. Many users are beginning to realize that popular apps are secretly accessing their clipboard data. Since then, most apps have patched what they call “bugs.”
