Google today released Android 12 Beta 5, the last version of Android before its official launch.
According to 9to5Google, there are no major new features for Android 12 Beta 5, but it’s all about final testing and reviews to ensure the stability of Android 12. No date is known for the official release of Android 12, which is expected to be in mid-to-late September, as a number of handset makers have timed their system updates for that time.

Google Calculator has undergone a Material You redesign
Power menu shows lock button by default (cannot be removed in Settings)
Android 12 has added a desktop widget that displays the Material You dynamic palette
The day/date lock screen will now be displayed closer to the clock instead of next to the clock
If a notification is displayed on the lock screen, the notification is closer to the center of the screen
The “Device Control” (for smart home) shortcut on the lock screen
Device search: must be accessed from the top of the App drawer
