Today I have for you the FiiTii HiFi Air2 earbuds
Let me say that this set of earbuds have been sent to me directly from the manufacturing company , which is a subsidiary of MiFO… and those of you who concern your selves with earbuds am those that you know this company from the very good and expensive earbuds that MiFo produces. I have it already for 2 months . The people that watch my channel know that I like to prove whatever I say , so make a coffee , get some pop corn and come to see it with me in an interactive way with narration and live tests .
The case has only the earphones , replacement earbuds of different sizes and a manual without a charging cable
which is a good thing because in my opinion those 10 cm cables that accompany the earphones are good to charge them
from a powerbank at best and that’s the end of their usefulness
Now let’s examine this product a bit more closely . At first we have a relatively small case , so that we can
carry the earphones everywhere , which in my opinion is something very good . This case contains a 400 mah
battery which needs about 2 hours to charge through a type c cable . Fully charged can last for up to 20 to 25 hours
without the ANC activated and with the volume up to 60 t0 70%
The quality of the plastic material that makes the case of the earphones is very good but here we have a small problem .
The case closes magnetically which is nice and funny to play with BUT when you close the case , the top doesn’t fit exactly with the bottom of the case . In order to achieve that i have to apply some pressure.
Although they haven’t fallen down. The only pressure that has been applied to the
case is that which they have sustained in my pocket but they have been designed to sustain such pressure .
The hinge that is used to close the case isn’t sufficiently powerful so it creates a small problem with the closing of the case.
The dimensions of the earphones with the case are :
Width : 57 mm
Height : 60 mm
Thickness : 30 mm
Weight : 49 gr
The earphones are pretty comfortable with a weight of 5 gr each .
There are two versions . One classic version with an earphone capsule of about 13 mm like all the other earphones that are available in the market and the cost of this version if i recall correctly is about 45 euro from the official site.
But there is also another version, the one that I have here with me now which besides the earphone
capsule they have an extra armament which filters out noise like professional earphones .
As a result of this extra armament the earphones have almost zero distortion even at 100% volume setting (which setting is something that I don’t recommend). So we have an almost perfect sound output throughout the entire
spectrum.
So let’s test them.
Now we found ourselves in a different setup . What I have here is a professional sound recorder from Zoom which is configured to record both right and left channels so we can test both earphones .
For testing purposes I have our classic NCS sound . My smartphone is configured with 100% sound output which isn’t recommended but we are doing this in order to test our earphones even under extreme conditions.
I know that this test isn’t the best one but I do believe that you get an idea of how sound can be heard through.
Let’s begin with a small detail which I consider to be really important. It is this rubber pad. The thing that it’s so special about it, is the mesh that it has. This rubber pad has the ability to collect whatever dirt might be found in the environment , or in our ears, so that it doesn’t reach the inner mesh . If this inner mesh gets dirty it will degrade the sound volume and the sound performance of the earphones .
The Active Noise Cancelation on these earphones isn’t the best that I have experienced it is certainly above the
average though. It has two settings, one medium and one high. It’s good but not the best.
Now let’s move on to this surface which has the logo FiiTii , this is the touch surface. This touch surface is honestly the best that I have experienced because it hasn’t missed even a single tap. All the taps that I have tried for whatever setting, have worked smoothly.
Another advantage is the ability to adjust the sound volume from the tap surfaces. Let’s continue with the microphones.
Whoever has heard me talking from these microphones has had the best experience hearing me from these microphones And since in this channel we not only say but we prove what we are saying let’s make a sound recording so that we can see the performance of these microphones.
Please don’t compare the sound that you are going to hear from this microphones with the sound of this
video because am using a professional microphone and a very good soundcard. Compare it with the sound
of a recording that you make with your own earphones.
The sound volume is above the average level of all the good quality earphones with a rating of 65 dB with a maximum of 70 dB tested with a standard volume setting and at a standard distance.
Another pretty good characteristic of these earphones is the Bluetooth 5.3 with which they are equipped , which is the latest generation so that we have almost zero latency so in my opinion they can be used for gaming or for movies but their best characteristic in my opinion is the speed with which they connect.
They manage to connect with their pairing device in less than 2 seconds.
These earphones are equipped not only with ANC mode ( which we have already explained what it does ) , ENC ( which we have also explained it’s function ) but also with transparency mode . What’s transparency mode ?? Let me remind you It is the mode with which you are using the earphone microphones in order to listen to the surrounding sounds so that you are not isolated from your environment . Although the microphones from what I have heard and have been told are the best the performance of the transparency mode wasn’t the best . I would like it to be more loud, more sensitive.
It is good that there is a transparency mode even though it isn’t the best . They are waterproof with IPX7 Certification. They are not accompanied with an application which is something that I would really want and that’s a minus for me
As a conclusion what I can certainly say is that these earphones are a pretty good earphone set with the advantages and disadvantages that we have already discussed.
Until the next time,
Bye.
