Suorin Trident 85W is a fairly productive and functional pod-mod from the famous Chinese company Suorin, which will delight the user with its compact size, good design, and a number of features inherent in traditional mods. The device received a replaceable battery, a fairly capacious reservoir, support for constant power even with a low charge, as well as support for TRI and RBA base evaporators.
The Suorin Trident Kit looks familiar to the segment; in front of us is a streamlined cylindrical silhouette with a metal frame and a carbon-look insert on the back. In general, the design of the device resembles the Trio Podik from the same company. Suorin Trident’s dimensions are average; we have 35 x 31 mm along the edges and 120 mm in height, without a battery; the device weighs 114 grams, so it will feel weighty in the hand. The display and controls are located on the glossy front panel.
The Suorin Trident cartridge is made of plastic and is held in place by two magnets. The reservoir holds 4.4 ml of liquid, which is a good value for the segment, although it cannot be called very large. The filling is lower here, the hole with a silicone plug is located at the bottom of the cartridge. The cartridge is powered by replaceable evaporators of the Suorin TRI series; it is possible to supply a serviced base from the same line. There are two of them in the Suorin Trident KIT kit; the first on three grids with a resistance of 0.2 Ohm, the second on one grid with a resistance of 0.4 Ohm; both are designed for free tightening. You can additionally adjust the thrust by turning the ring located at the top of the Sub-system.

All in all, the Suorin Trident is pretty easy to use and yet a serious AIO hiding under the guise of a POD system. A large reservoir; a proprietary chip with a fast response, and the ability to deliver up to 85 watts even with a low battery charge; make the Suorin Trident a good device that can compete with rivals in its class. And given that Suorin’s price tag is usually slightly lower than that of competitors; then Podik can be a good choice for someone who is looking for a device designed for free tightening.
The battery compartment in the Suorin Trident Kit is located at the bottom and is securely closed by a threaded cover. The Pod itself is powered by one removable 18650 battery, but there is no fast charging. Despite the Type-C connector, the Pod accepts only 1A; so be prepared for the fact that the recharging of the conventional 3000 mAh will take about three hours; for such a powerful Pod system it will take a long time. But it is possible to replace the discharged battery with a spare one.
The Suorin Trident KIT sub-system received its own ORI board; which, according to the manufacturer, has one of the fastest responses to pressing “Fire” in the segment; the delay will be only about 0.006 seconds. The chip is able to automatically select the optimal power for the installed evaporator; which can be further adjusted to suit your preferences in the range from 5 to 85 watts. It is worth noting that a constant voltage is implemented in Suorin Trident, therefore, with a low battery charge; the device will continue to work properly and will not start to lose power.
Suorin Trident 85w Pod System Kit can adjust the power from 5W to 85W, holds up to 4.4 ml of electronic cigarette liquid. You can buy it from Youmeit at $34.99 by using Coupon Code: YM8 in Flash Sale for a limited time.
