Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy J4 Core, the second device of the Korean giant with Android Go. The announcement came without too many surprises, given that just two days ago the smartphone user manual was released, which informed us about everything there was to know. Galaxy J4 Core looks like a small upgrade of Galaxy J2 Core, released a few months ago in Asia.
Being an Android Go device, it is, therefore, legitimate to expect a very low-end data sheet, useful for carrying out basic operations without any pretense. So that Samsung Galaxy J4 Core is operated by a quad-core processor at 1.4 GHz, presumably the Snapdragon 430, along with a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
What immediately strikes is the large 6-inch LCD display with HD resolution, certainly very low compared to the diagonal of the screen. The smartphone is then equipped with a front 5MP camera and an 8MP rear, both with f / 2.2 aperture.
The Galaxy J4 Core has a 3300mAh battery, combined with the decidedly low-energy data sheet, should then guarantee the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core a very good autonomy. Finally, the smartphone is quite thin (just under 8mm) with a weight of 177 grams. It is still not clear in which countries will be released and at what price, but most likely will remain segregated in Asia, where Android Go is the most popular.
