French lawmakers submitted an e-cigarette ban bill on July 12 and plan to pass the law by the end of the year.
The lawmakers said they were proposing a ban because e-cigarettes not only pollute the environment, but also pose a health risk to teenagers.
As previously reported, French Health Minister Francois Braun said on May 3 that the French government may ban single-use e-cigarettes by the end of the year, and said he supports the issuance of the ban.
