Yesterday, Meizu rolled out the Flyme 6 Spring Edition OS update to its smartphones running on Android Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat. In all, the update is now available for 34 Meizu devices.
According to Meizu, the Flyme 6 Spring Edition has been significantly optimized for better RAM management and efficient processor usage. It improves stability and system responsiveness. The update also brings along optimizations for a better gaming experience. After installing the update, user can also experience faster launch times for apps and smooth multi-tasking.

Here is the list of the devices that can receive the new Flyme 6 Spring Edition OS: Meizu MX4, MX4 Pro, MX5, MX5, MX6, PRO 5, PRO 6, PRO 6s, PRO 6 Plus, PRO 7, PRO 7 Plus, M1 Note, M2 Note, M3 Note, M5 Note, M2, M3, M3s, M5s, M1 Metal, Meizu X, Meizu E2, Meizu MX, M3 Max, U10, and U20.
One should be aware of the fact that all the features that are introduced on the Flyme 6 Stable Version will be not be available on all devices. For instance, optimizations for system performance, power management, and Quick app function is being made available on Nougat powered Meizu phones like the Meizu PRO 7.
The second category of devices include Marshmallow and Lollipop powered Meizu phones that will be receiving apps for Quick function, avatar 2.0 and Meizu Pay support. The last set of devices including Meizu X and E2 will be getting features like Quick app, Meizu Pay and Game Mode 2.0.
