Design
We will delve into the design of FIFINE’s microphones, starting with the FIFINE AmpliGame A8 microphone. As a bonus, we received the assembled microphone, allowing us to test it out immediately.
According to the information provided on the box, the FIFINE AmpliGame A8 microphone is a condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. Additionally, it features a USB-A to USB-C interface and the “Instant and Easy Use” feature, meaning it can be plugged into a USB port and used immediately. It also boasts RGB colors, a must-have for gamers and content creators.
One unique aspect of this microphone is its shock mount. Unlike typical microphones, the FIFINE AmpliGame A8 microphone has a special rubber design that minimizes shock during gaming and content creation.
Turning on the microphone is as simple as connecting it to the provided USB-C to USB-A cable. In our testing, we used it on both desktop and laptop PCs without needing to install any additional software. This makes it a very practical option for gamers and content creators.
In terms of aesthetics, the FIFINE A8 microphone has a sleek black design that appeals to gamers and content creators. Made of sturdy aluminum but with a plastic shock mount and microphone stand, it is lightweight and easy to adjust the angle with the fasteners on the back of the microphone stand.
Another noteworthy aspect of this microphone is the pop filter with a red smiley emoticon. It is easy to install and remove, allowing for customizable sound quality. Overall, the microphone offers a sturdy, elegant design and practical features for gamers and content creators.
Controls
The FIFINE A8 microphone boasts a variety of interactive buttons that may seem intimidating at first glance. However, upon further examination, users will find these buttons extremely useful for gamers and content creators. One particularly noteworthy button is located on the head of the microphone and is labeled “Mute” with a green indicator and “Unmute” with a red arrow. The presence of this button allows for quick and easy muting and unmuting without the need for extensive navigation. Additionally, the indicator colors are especially helpful in rooms with low lighting.
Another feature that stands out is the ease of adjusting the RGB flashing lights on the microphone’s body. With a gentle touch, users can switch between seven different colors provided by FIFINE to match their desired setup or theme. These colors include Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Purple, White, Yellow, and a Pulse Gradient Color combination of all the existing colors.
In addition to the convenience buttons and adjustable colors, the FIFINE AmpliGame A8 microphone also features a Volume Control Gain button, allowing users to capture sound at their desired level. Simply turn the knob to the left to decrease the Volume Gain or to the right to increase it. Additionally, the microphone includes a 3.5mm Jack which is extremely useful for hearing the results of the microphone. The author found that plugging a hands-free device into the 3.5mm Jack slot resulted in satisfying sound quality. Overall, the FIFINE AmpliGame A8 microphone is user-friendly and uncomplicated.
Sound Quality Experience
The Fifine A8 is a condenser microphone. This means that the capsule is quite sensitive and usually picks up a lot of background noise. Therefore, you should deal intensively with the settings. The capsule works with a cardioid characteristic in a frequency range from 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
In the test, we significantly reduced the level and sensitivity of our recordings so that the microphone could be set very sensitively. We can certify that the A8 has a very good and warm sound, but we noticed that the microphone reproduced the bass frequencies very dominantly. Especially at close range, the bass in the voice is almost too strongly emphasized. Software with its equalizer could help.
The mids are also well reproduced. Unfortunately, something is missing at the higher frequencies. We would like more emphasis here. But the distance is perfect for a balanced recording if the microphone is on the table. Suspension in a spider is useful but, unfortunately, not excellent. Unfortunately, it does not isolate from vibrations to the extent that might be expected. The pop filter works well, although it could certainly be better.
Here you can hear a test recording of the microphone. The pop filter works well, although it could certainly be better. Here you can listen to a test recording of the microphone. The pop filter works well, although it could certainly be better. Here you can hear a test recording of the microphone.

Verdict
The Fifine A8 has a robust and functional design, with its parts neatly finished. The design is based on the standard features of a USB microphone and includes chic RGB lighting that offers various options. While it may appear unprofessional, it is geared toward a specific customer base.
This microphone is perfect for live streaming gaming content, as it is easy to set up and can even be mounted on a tripod using the included adapter. The decoupling by the spider is a smart feature, but it doesn’t eliminate vibrations. However, the practical pop filter does its job well.
The sound is warm and slightly bass-heavy, but this can be balanced by using the microphone at a distance of at least 30 centimeters. The sensitivity is excellent, allowing for plenty of shooting options. For a current price of 65 euros, the Fifine A8 is a great value as a USB microphone.
