According to Samsung reports, earlier this week, it was reported that Samsung is developing the next generation of Exynos chips. An upcoming processor model number (S5E9935) has also been revealed. Now, the internal codename of the next-generation Exynos chipset has leaked.
According to reliable whistleblower Roland Quandt, Samsung has set the internal codename for its next flagship Exynos chip to be “Quadra”. Codenamed Pamir, the Exynos 2200 was used on the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra earlier this year. While we’re not sure about the specifications and improvements of the upcoming Exynos chipset, it’s likely to launch as the Exynos 2300.
The upcoming chips are expected to use the Exynos 2300 3nm GAA process and feature the latest ARM CPU cores and updated Xclipse GPUs based on AMD’s new Radeon GPUs. Mass production of the 3nm chipset is expected to begin later this year, in perfect sync with the next-generation Exynos processors.

But there are also rumors that Samsung will not use Exynos chips in its flagship Galaxy S series for the next two years, possibly due to performance degradation and throttling issues. Samsung has reportedly created a team of 1,000 employees to develop a new custom chipset from scratch that will first be used in the Galaxy S25 in 2025.
