Huawei has begun the 2nd batch of distribution of the test version of the proprietary shell EMUI 11 (Magic UI 4.0) for its smartphones. On the day of the announcement of EMUI 11, the shell became available for testing to users of Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro +, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 RS smartphones, as well as MatePad Pro and MatePad Pro 5G tablets.
Now, 2000 users of the Huawei Nova 7 series, as well as Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G will be able to join the beta testing of EMUI 11. For Honor smartphones, a branded version of the shell is proposed for testing – Magic UI 4.0. The company is recruiting 2000 testers among users of Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, as well as Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro. It is noticed that each model will recruit 500 users with the log version, and 1500 users without the log version.
In this regard, I remember that users interested in requesting access to this test phase must make sure that their mobile phone is not ROOT-enabled and that the devices have more than 6G of internal storage space available. Apart, the other models that have been confirmed to be upgraded to EMUI 11 & Magic UI 4.0 are as follows:
Additionally, users also need to upgrade their mobile phone system version to the basic version. EMUI 11, it is good to point this out to everyone again, it is still based on the Android 10 version, but in the future, it should be updated to Hongmeng OS 2.0.
