After the announcement and commercial launch of eMeet OfficeCore M2, with good feedback and reviews, the Chinese startup is already working on two new more advanced variants: eMeet OfficeCore M2ce and OfficeCore M2 Record.
It’s a special moment for eMeet, the small startup that has bet on smart conference speakers: after the success of the first generation, eMeet OfficeCore M2 was presented almost a month ago and is already available on the market. Someone bought it (as shown by the comments on the Amazon page) but – regardless of feedback (almost all positive for the truth and very few negatives) – it is important for the company to have the first contact with its audience, understand where they can improve and what to focus on. And eMeet will do it all.
According to the first reviews, OfficeCore M2 is appreciated for its elegant design and for the “intelligent” circular LED that illuminates indicating the origin of the voice, but also for the crystalline and powerful sound during the phone calls ( after all it has the same speaker of Jabra 710 ). Someone complains about the inability to use the speaker for multiparty conference calls, but in principle, nobody is disappointed by the device. And how could it be?
In addition to AI, eMeet OfficeCore M2 has a wider range, because it uses an array of 4 high sensitivity MEMS digital microphones capable of capturing the voice up to 8-10 meters away and improving it using the AI. In fact, this device can count on Artificial Intelligence and a VoiceN algorithm based on DNN (Deep Neural Network) that effectively eliminates background noise and echo to provide clear sound both in and out. OfficeCore M2 also has USB inputs and 3.5 mm (-in and -out) jacks to connect more powerful earphones and speakers, Bluetooth 4.2 (Qualcomm CSR8670) and a declared autonomy of 12 consecutive hours.
Obviously, it is also compatible with more software and platforms: Skype, Avaya, Gizmo Project, Wechat, Google Gtalk and many others, as well as most digital assistants (Siri, Cortana or Google Now). The keys on the top, then, will turn it on and off, adjust the volume, turn off the microphone and answer calls.
EMeet’s work does not stop and in 2018 there are two new versions of the conference speaker: OfficeCore M2ce and OfficeCore M2 Record. The first will have advanced features compared to the basic model, such as infinite expandability by connecting multiple units M2 and the eMeet app that will allow multiparty conference call, while the other we do not have much information even if the name gives us some suggestions (can also record voice messages ?). We’ll see, you do not lose sight of us.
