The Chinese manufacturer Elephone, who has also attracted attention in the past by extremely solid devices, would like to introduce the Elephone PX, the cheapest full-screen smartphone with a pop-up mechanism in the world. Elephone PX will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores and PowerVR GE8320 GPU, The device comes in two configurations of 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage and another with 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage. Powering the device is a 3500mAh battery which Elephone says will be able to last up to 48hours. Other features of this device include 4G LTE connectivity, 3.5mm jack, and USB On The Go and Android 9 Pie straight out of the box.
The Elephone PX comes with a huge 6.34-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with no notch insight and a little bit of chin. Screen resolution stands at 720 x 1500 pixels with a 267 pixel per inch density and a 19:9 aspect ratio. A screen to body ratio of more than 80% was able to be achieved, thanks to the mechanical pop-up compartment which houses the dual front-facing camera which comes up as soon as you launch the camera. The body of the device is made up of aluminum alloy + Metal and comes in colors Black and Green. At the back of the device is a fingerprint sensor located at the center and a heart rate sensor located just beneath the dual rear cameras at the top left side.
At the back of the Elephone PX smartphone is a dual camera setup of 16MP + 2MP with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Turning over to the front of the device is yet another dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP, this time located in the slider which comes up when needed and goes back down when not in use. The selfie cameras also have a f/2.2 aperture.
Elephone PX is coming pretty soon with some pre-launch activities and the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, so it’s surely advised to keep an eye on their official Facebook.
