Elephone PX Another pop-up Camera Smartphone Coming After Elephone U2

The new Elephone U2 it gets closer and closer. The debut is set for 9 June and in the meantime, it is already possible to buy the device from the official store of the Chinese brand store AliExpress. But what are the new features of this new model? Obviously a triple camera and – online with current trends – a pop-up selfie camera. Enough or do you want a little something more? Elephone had a hard time with the original Elephone PX production and according to updates on Indiegogo, the project has been canceled since March 20th with all backers receiving a refund. But today, the device was revived featuring the same name but different design than the initial one. That’s certainly good news for the fans.

This is the real thing and is scheduled to be released after the Elephone U2 does. It will feature an affordable price as well as a big display and that’s all we know so far. Elephone provided some photos of the device and we are curious to see how they managed to fit the front pop-up camera module in-line with the rear camera that is also placed in the middle of the device.

According to these the new model will be also equipped with selfie pop-up camera just like U2, but only with a single sensor one. Thanks to that the phone will have surely a full-screen design with a bigger screen size. Back of the phone reveals a double camera with LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. It’s worth noting, that the design of the back panel is different than the old pictures of PX still available on the official website. Ah well. In the latest description, the makers are also mentioning the phone being “affordable”, so I would expect less powerful hardware than the ELEPHONE U2.
