Smartphone developers come up with creative solutions for where to hide the front camera on a frameless smartphone. Apple and many other companies have chosen “Notch” – a cutout at the top of the screen. Vivo created a smartphone with a retractable Pop-up camera. Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo have chosen a slider form factor that helps to hide the cameras behind the screen when they are not needed. The Chinese manufacturer Elephone did not reinvent the wheel and simply improved what it is. The upcoming Elephone PX is equipped with a Vivo Nex-style front camera. However, unlike the latter, the new smartphone has not one, but two retractable cameras.
Elephone has launched a mini-site dedicated to the PX model. Three weeks ago, it was demonstrated at the Hong Kong Technology Expo 2018, but now, obviously, it is nearing the beginning of mass production, and the collection of additional funds at this stage will not be superfluous. Elephone has started a Giveaway on its official website, which will allow the 5 winners to win the new Elephone PX during the campaign and they’ll get a full refund once our campaign ends.
