Chinese manufacturers have always been known to be inspired by other brands. With the passage of time and their corresponding growth, they have been improving their designs and acquiring a personality of their own. However, there are still some models clearly inspired by the most successful devices. They are mobiles that they never get to be distributed internationally nor are they their flagship but they do get models that get a huge publicity even at the expense of highlighting their similarity with the smartphone to be copied. Now time to talk about the Oppo R13, a device with a clear inspiration in the X iPhone.
The mobile has not been officially presented although some filtering companies have been able to show actual images of the model together with the packaging. Oppo is the parent company of OnePlus and has very special and innovative phones such as the Oppo N3 and its rotating camera or ultra-thin designs such as the Oppo R5.
What would lead to Oppo to copy so blatantly to the iPhone X? The truth is that the phones of today are all very similar and what most striking is the vertical arrangement of your dual camera, more taking into account that in their other current models such as the Oppo R11S have that camera in horizontal.
The device was shown also has a lower bar in the software that mimics the layout of iOS icons. Although the aesthetic is far from the versions of ColorOS we have seen lately.
