2017 was the year of Full-Screen smartphones and we expect fashion to continue even in 2018. However, the main trend this year could be the fingerprint reader placed under the display. The Doogee V would be one of the first Android smartphones to have both a Full-Screen design and a fingerprint sensor installed under the screen.
The first feature that is clearly visible from the render is its display. This presents a 6.2-inch diagonal with an iPhone X style notch at the top. Within the latter, we will find the various sensors, the headset, and the front camera. The image published by the well-known leaker Benjamin Geskin, through his official Twitter account, confirms that there will be an additional camera on the front, perhaps used for facial recognition.
Comparing the render of Geskin and the one posted by Evan Blass (aka evleaks), there are some differences on the back cover. Although both images show a Doogee V with a dual camera on the back, the design is quite different. Geskin claims that the dual rear camera will have a dual 21MP sensor while on the front there will be a dual 16MP camera.
The Evan Blass render, instead, shows the Doogee V with a structure very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9 +, recently emerged in the render. The curved sides and angles are reminiscent of the structure used by the South Korean company on its latest flagships. Examining the latest rumors, one of the main differences between the Doogee V and the Galaxy S9 + would be the location of the fingerprint scanner.
In particular, the next top of the range of the South Korean manufacturer should propose a biometric sensor placed under the rear camera while the new Chinese company phone should implement the player right below the screen. Moreover, it is clear from the render that the Doogee V will have a mini-jack input, a USB Type-C port and a speaker placed on the lower part.

The power button and the volume rocker, then, will be on the right side while the SIM tray is located on the top. According to Benjamin Geskin, the Doogee V will be powered by a next-generation MediaTek Helio P40 processor supported by 6 GB of RAM while the internal storage should be from 128 GB. As for price and availability, the Chinese manufacturer could market its new flagship at a price between 300 and 350 dollars in late April or early May.
