DOOGEE MIX has drawn public attentions since it releasing a stunning bezel-less picture. Though the real model showed in HongKong last week, most of users are still no idea about its performance of Helio P25, and the latest MediaTek premium SoC. There are no smartphones in market coming with Helio P25, so DOOGEE MIX may be the first one sporting this chipset.
Dual camera
One of the important improvement in Helio P25 is the ability to support 13+13MP dual camera. So does the DOOGEE MIX. A 16MP main sensor and 8MP assistant sensor will adorn the rear-face of the device. According to MediaTek, it will be one RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor. It is a different design of dual cameras comparing with xiaomi Mi 6, the newly launched dual camera smartphone or iPhone 7 Plus, which introduce a telephoto lens besides the primary camera. The two sensor in DOOGEE MIX will work independently, letting more light in and improve image quality. It also offers a bokeh effect preview, so you can change the focus by touching the screen.
Another improvement by Helio P25 is supporting dual ISP, which is powerful in FHD or HDR photography. By applying dual ISP, the shutter speed will shorten by 50%. We can expect a more clear and sharp imagery, if the dual ISP and PDAF technology are used in DOOGEE MIX.
CPU Performance
Aphelion P25 is a octa-core processor, with 4 cores clocks at 2.5GHz. The increase in clocking frequency than its predecessor, Helio P20 at 2.3GHz will definitely boost the performance. DOOGEE MIX will come with two variants, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, with the two channel LPDDR4x, 70% faster than LPDDR3. And it has a upgraded LTE baseband to improve connectivity efficiency. Helio P20 showed great endurance in Meizu M3x for the 16nm technology,
which is inherited by Helio P25, and lower 25% in energy consumption according to news. In that way, we can imagine DOOGEE MIX will have a greater performance in power saving, not to mention the active matrix Samsung AMOLED screen.
