Last night, dJI’s official account released a poster for the new product, with the caption: “September 8, 2021, 21:00 | Hi Five!”
The poster was a “frozen 5” with no other valid information. Dji Phantom 5 is finally coming after being stranded for 3 years?
Back in 2018, dJI Phantom 5 was rumored to have a similar body to the Phantom 4 Pro, but with a 50mm lens, 5x zoom, and interchangeable lenses.
In recent years, DJI’s “Royal Mavic” series of foldable drones has been on the rise, with a series of new products released, while the Phantom series of drones are almost stagnant.
In addition to the DJI Phantom 5 drone, some netizens speculated that the new product might be a DJI OM 5 phone stabilizer.
Currently, DJI OM 5 has been filed with FCC, and it is rumored that the size of the head battery of DJI OM 5 has also been reduced from 2450Mah of the previous generation to 1000Mah. Perhaps the size of the new OM 5 will be significantly reduced.
