According to WinFuture, DJI may soon release a handheld phone stabilizer called Osmo Mobile 4, code-named “DJI OM 4”. The stabilizer will be magnetically mounted for easy disassembly.
A video clip posted on Twitter by WinFuture’s Roland Quandt shows two magnetic mounting designs for Osmo Mobile 4 that quickly snaps a smartphone into the mounting bracket, a significant improvement over the previous model that no longer requires the effort of sliding a smartphone into a claw mounting bracket.
Osmo Mobile 4 supports story mode, gesture control and intelligent activity tracking ActiveTrack 3.0. It also has fast scrolling function and dynamic zoom function. When moving the camera forward to create the classic Dolly zoom effect, the picture can automatically shrink.
Osmo Mobile 4 is reportedly equipped with a 2450mAh battery for up to 15 hours of battery life, and the device can be charged via USB-C. Osmo Mobile 4 will retail for nearly 150 euros, or about 1,227 yuan, WinFuture said.
