DJI Mavic Pro Platinum is a small evolution of a model that was already at the top. Compared to the “simple” Mavic Pro, DJI now promises a bit more Battery and a little less noise. Based on DJI Mavic Pro, DJI Mavic Pro Platinum has been improved greatly. The newly designed 8331 quick-release folding propellers and the latest FOC sinusoidal driver ESC make the aircraft much more aerodynamic, power-efficient and lower 60 percent noise during takeoff and landing. The flight time has been extended to 30 minutes, which means half an hour’s fun of flying at a high speed and shooting smooth 4K UHD videos within the 7km control range.
With this new Platinum version, it seems that DJI has put in mind to further improve its best seller is the Mavic Pro, it is true that this small foldable drone does not have a much negative point if it is not it is not equipped with a 4K 60 FPS camera. But DJI did not make the decision to reinforce this feature specific to the Phantom 4 but rather decided to improve once again the autonomy and noise generated by the device.
To reach an autonomy of more than 30 minutes it seems that DJI has worked on a new aerodynamic strategy by changing some parameters at the level of the engines (even if they remain the same as on the classic Mavic Pro) as well as on the propellers which they have totally changed their style.

In terms of design, it should be noted that the Mavic Platinum dresses the dress “platinum” clearer and shiny than the Mavic classic and a small logo “Platinum” on his left-front arm. The last difference is, of course, the propellers with their yellow tips. The main differences are therefore discreet.
The noise reduction on the Mavic Pro Platinum actually hides a much more important thing: the autonomy, it is very likely that the noise (and therefore the vibrations) have been reduced to optimize the autonomy of the drone. Given that DJI has not touched anything at the level of the camera always greedy energy, the improvements are therefore on engines, propellers and also a new hardware dedicated to Platinum.
The Mavic Pro Platinum has a few advantages over it’s predecessor. The extra features offered by the Mavic Pro Platinum are not groundbreaking, you can buy from TOMTOP DJI Mavic Pro at $1260 and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum at $1300 in Flash Sale
