A lot of rumors about DJI Inspire 2 has come out recently, but it hasn’t been released officially, but DJI Mavic Pro as the first compact and foldable RC drone has announced first, we are tired of waiting for DJI Inspire 2, but recently, a real photo about DJI Inspire 2 has been unveiled, and more important news is that they will release a new RC drone on November 15, which has inspired our enthusiasm about it.
Earlier before, there is news about DJI Inspire 2 will release on October, and then Mavic Pro comes second. But some news points out DJI Inspire 2’s gimbal has technical problem that doesn’t solved, so they have to delay the announcement.
According to the real photo of DJI Inspire 2, it looks similar to Inspire 1, only the the design color of the aricraft is different and the placement of the battery may also change. Inspire 1 battery uses the vertical inserted design from up to down, from the photo of DJI Inspire 2, the battery is inserted from the back. So we can speculate that the rumored TB50 battery of Inspire 2 may be different from that of Inspire 1 in terms of design.
If we discover carefully, it’s not hard to find there are two sets of units besides the voltage LED of the aircraft, it should be the visual sensor and ultrasonic sensor. It’s quite interesting that two sets of units is placed on the top the body, which may be used for detecting the obstacle on the aircraft. This kind of design is very special to indoor flight and is helpful to reduce the chance that the aircraft collides the ceiling.
Currently, Phantom 4 has the obstacle sensor system and visual positioning system on the aircraft and under the bottom separately to tell the flying direction and detect the obstacles. If DJI Inspire 2 can increase the sensor up the direction and then only add visual sensor system on the back, so that it can achieve all-direction obstacle avoidance function. But we need to confirm by its official to what’s the breakthrough on Obstacle Avoidance system of DJI Inspire 2.
After DJI Inspire 2 real photo unveiled, its invitation card has been exposed, too. It shows that DJI will invite other media to attend the activity on November 15 in Los Angeles, USA. It reads the slogan of 「CONTROL / CREATE」, and they will have an exciting special announcement to hint that there will be new product released. So will DJI release DJI Inspire 2 at that time?
