As an old and renowned RC brand, DJI has never given up in researching the new drone with innovative design and features. Right now there is breaking news about the next coming drone, DJI Inspire 2 whose photos, documents and other things have been leaked more now. It’s said it will be released in November 2016, are you excited with it.
According to latest leaked photo, DJI Inspire 2 is put in the foam tray with its package. There will be new batteries named TB50 as the latest rumor. It has a smooth solid carbon fiber legs. We can see the advanced carbon fiber has been used on its arms which are better than Inspire 1.
What’s more, they have also leaked the FCC document to prove its coming, we can find the page 9 of the test report has mentioned an “Inspire 2 Charger/Charging Hub” for charging the next Inspire 2 remote control. A few days ago, DJI has applied for FCC ID application to use on a new remote control with FCC ID GL6D10A. As we know DJI Inspire 1 used GL658 FCC ID. And GL6D10A Remote Control shows it will support input voltage of DC7.4V from its lithium battery which is same as the Inspire 1.
DJI Inspire 2 will still have awesome craftsmanship which is better than the last generation. So what kind of features are you expecting? First, it will still support FPV camera to control the direction or everything about the drone. Second, it will have longer battery life, as you know, DJI Inspire 1 Pro can support 18 minutes with TB47 standard battery, so Inspire 2 will definitely improve the battery to support at least 22 minutes for flying time with TB48 battery, but it has limits to use in some countries. Third, DJI Inspire 2 should take the better lens than the previous model.
Therefore, what we care more is the price, DJI Inspire 1 Pro sells at 3,399 yuan, $566 right now, so the price of DJI Inspire 2 will be a little higher than the previous model, it is reported to come next month, so you have to make the choice between DJI Inspire 2 and DJI Mavic Pro, are you ready?
