In the Argos catalog, the advertisement for the DJI Mavic 2 drones was announced, the announcement of which was expected on July 18. Contrary to previous rumors, the camera is non-replaceable. Instead, the manufacturer will offer two models: Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom.
DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Starting with the more robust option, we have a CMOS sensor of no less than 1 inch made by Hasselblad, which should guarantee great images even in low light environments. In addition, it will allow video transmission in Full HD 1080p and reach the maximum speed of 20 m / s, which gives an incredible 72 k / h.
Its maximum allowable distance for the flight will be of 8 km, and the autonomy of the battery will go through a welcome improvement, being able to now guarantee 31 minutes of uninterrupted flight with use of the camera. Of course, we still have the sophisticated systems to avoid obstacles, allowing you to use the drone to record your moments without worry.
DJI Mavic 2 Zoom
As the name already says, the Zoom variant of the DJI Mavic 2 will focus on image approximation, with 24mm and 48mm lenses for two-way approximation. Unfortunately, we do not have the huge sensor in the Pro version here, but all the other functions mentioned above are valid, including battery life, speed, range and streaming capability.
Zooming without loss of quality will be accompanied by a function called Dolly Zoom (I know you laughed), but no information was given on how this will work, so let’s wait for more details on the usability of Mavic 2 Zoom to find out.
Also, we did not have anything about price or availability of DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro, only being commented by the Argos store that more details will be available on the site, which has not happened yet.
