Igeekphone news on March 9, the whistleblower @RX_LOSS posted a post on the X platform, exposing the spy photos of DJI Avata 2 crossing the drone and DJI Goggles 3 flying glasses (the whistleblower wrongly called “Google 3”).
Igeekphone noted that compared with the original Avata crossing UAV, this “second generation version” has improved in terms of blade size, and relevant informasters also mentioned that the second generation model is more powerful than the original generation, but it is not known whether the Avata 2 model has improved in terms of battery life. The current DJI Avata model has a standard hover life of 18 minutes.
In terms of DJI Goggles flight glasses, the “third generation version” has a pair of visual cameras relative to the current sale of “DJI flight glasses 2”, considering that this flight glasses is actually a VR all-in-one machine running a special version of DJI Fly application. Therefore, the new camera is likely to be used to see through the reality scene (similar to the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest Pro / 3 “mixed reality” perspective mode).
