DJI has released its latest new rc drone, DJI Phantom 4 Advanced edition. The biggest feature is that it has one inch 20MP image sensor, 7 sets of 8 all glass lens, mechanical shutter, which can take 4K/60fps video, supporting H.264 4K/60fps and H.265/HEVC 4K/30fps decoding format, up to 100Mbps, which can take photos statically at 14/s.
It adopts Titanium alloy, magnesium alloy materials, only 1,368g weight, equipped with GPS/GLONASS dual module satillite GPS, ultrasonic wave module, sensor and other Flightautonomy OS, even if there is no GPS signal, it cansl support hovering accurately.The front body has dual-lens visual sensor to detect 30 meters remote distance, within 15 meters obstacles, it can brake, hover or avoid to fly.
It has many kinds of smart flying modes including tracking flight, smart following, smart returning, smart positioning, gesture selfie-taking. Under sports mode, it can fly up to 72km/h, up to 6km height, providing tripod mode, which can control the flying speed at 7km better for accurate operation.
It has double compass module, dual IMU, according to two sets of sensor, it can exclude the error data to keep normal flight. It is built in 5870mAh/15.2V/89.2Wh battery which can support about 30 minutes flight, App will calculate the rest battery and flight time according to flight distance to remind of flying back.
It has remote control with lightbridge image transmission, which can support up to 7km. The remote control has 5.5 inch 1080P screen, up to 1000nit brightness, supporting up to 5 hours battery life.
Compared with DJI Phantom 4 Pro, it has kept most of functions, but the FlightAutonomy OS doesn’t have back visual sensor, infrared remote sensor on two sides of the body, the remote control doesn’t have 5.8GHz frequency, the guidance flight mode will also remove the back guidance function. DJI Phantom 4 Advanced right now has started to sell at 8,999 yuan, $1499, coming with remote control at 999 yuan, $166.
