Chuwi, a manufacturer of hardware-based and production in China, has inaugurated its 2019 with two new, Lightweight laptops, and High-Performance, Lightweight 2 In 1 Tablet PC the Chuwi Aerobook and Chuwi Ubook, Comes with Windows 10 on board. For the new Chuwi Aerobook, the Chinese manufacturer (again) is an Indiegogo campaign and put on the 27.02. starts. Thus, the Chinese manufacturer wants to position for the first time, a middle-class device with Intel-m3 processor on the market, at the moment it is not clear how much it will cost, but by registering now, you can get a discount of 25% with more chance of getting a gift-package of 80 dollars. In this article, we will see What’s the difference between Chuwi Aerobook and Chuwi Ubook? Let’s check out quickly comparison review of both devices here.
Design
Chuwi Aerobook is a notebook-13.3″ (IPS FHD) is characterized by an ultra-slim design; the laptop is often just 15mm, it uses frames, ultra-thin (5mm) and weighs approximately 1.25 Kg. The frame is constructed of metal with a ratio of screen-to-body 80%; there is also a backlit keyboard and a generous trackpad. The Chuwi AeroBook is a thin and light laptop with a compact design, slim bezels, a backlit keyboard, and a large touchpad. It’s less powerful than most members of the MateBook family… which means it’ll probably be cheaper.
And The Chuwi Ubook is equipped with an 11.6-inch touch-screen IPS display. However, the manufacturer has not yet provided its resolution and proportions. The screen can also be operated with the stylus, which detects 1024 pressure levels. Chuwi Ubook is a hybrid, a device consisting of a tablet and keyboard, which can be disconnected at any time. Thanks to this, it can play two roles: a classic tablet and something like a laptop. If necessary, the user can also use the feet to place the equipment on, for example, a desk or a table (inclination up to 145°). Made of aviation aluminum alloy, the UBook boasts of only 9mm thickness. While it weighs just 760 grams, that’s still about 200 grams heavier than the Surface Go, although the latter sports a smaller display size. Chuwi Ubook adopts a U-shaped kickstand similar to HP Spectre X2. It supports stepless adjustment between 0 to 150 degrees.
Hardware
The Chuwi Aerobook and Chuwi Ubook both sport a Skylake Intel Core M3-6Y30 Quad Core processor manufactured with a maximum speed of 2.2Ghz and integrates an Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU. The Turbo Boost 2.0 help the CPU core frequency reach 2.2GHz. It is 40% higher than the previous generation.
The Chuwi Aerobook and Chuwi Ubook both are paired with an 8GB of large-capacity memory which is one of the key factors for smooth switching of multiple projects. Aerobook is equipped with 128G storage, in addition, you can also upgrade the storage to 1TB.
Features
The CHUWI Aerobook Laptop is embedded with a battery that has a long life. It has an 8 hours high capacity lithium polymer battery, with the addition of low power consumption CPU Enables 8 hours of long usage. It also embedded with multiple ports, connect anytime and anywhere. It comes with up to 7 interfaces making it possible to build your personalize workstation. Otherwise, the CHUWI Aerobook offers enough connections to get along in my opinion, in everyday life. These include 2x USB-A 3.0, a 3.5 mm jack input, a microSD card slot, the charging port, and an HDMI port. According to the manufacturer, the latter is a micro HDMI interface, but because of the photos, I would rather bet on mini HDMI.
And Chuwi Ubook has connectivity options like micro HDMI, USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, stereo speakers and a microSD card slot. Inside there’s a 30.4 Wh battery, which should offer plenty hours of fun (9.5 hours on paper). The detachable keyboard has backlit keys and a spill-resistant coating. The tablet also includes a USB-C, two full-size USB 3.0, micro HDMI and an audio connector. A separate DC port is used to charge the battery.
