At CES 2018 that ended a few days ago, Chuwi announced 3 new product lines this year, the Surbook Pro, which consists of the Intel Gemini Lake processor, the Hi9 Air equipped with the Mediatek 8176 processor and the operating system Android 8.0 Oreo and the GBox Pro (mini PC) that comes with an Intel i5 processor.
Now Chuwi with the GBOX and the Gemini Lake N4100 chipset is making the difference! You will tell me, however, why the Gemini Lake N4100 chip; Why offer over 50% enhanced performance, DDR4 support for faster data transfer, 4K UHD HEVC 10-bit support, over 2.1 times better web browsing experience, more than 3.2 times better graphics at entry-level price, incredible download speeds, VR9 hardware decryption and over 10 hours of battery life compared to the latest generation chipset.
This time, however, there is a peculiarity in relation to the company’s oldest products. Chuwi wants you to design it! So you can make the design and define the materials with which it will be made (plastic, aluminum alloy or carbon fiber). In addition to this, you can choose how much RAM will be (2GB to 8GB), how much gigabyte of storage you need (from 32GB to 128GB), how many other types of storage space you would like to have (TF, SSD, HPD) / slots you would like to have (HDMI, VGA, Type-C, RJ45, USB) and the operating system (Windows or Windows + Ubuntu).
So if you are interested in any product and want to become its designer, here is your chance to shine. Vote for the design of GBOX, just to do the way you want. And as always, Chuwi runs a contest on her page. All you have to do is check their page and write a comment about the utility of GBOX as well as subscribe to their newsletter. We wish you good luck. You can find the contest on Chuwi official website.
