Chuwi HI13 VS Microsoft Surface Laptop Design, Hardware, Feature Review

It is delighted to see Microsoft releases a new notebook, Surface Laptop yesterday, as you know Chuwi has also released a latest 13.5 inch Tablet PC, Chuwi HI13, much cheaper than Surface Laptop.We believe some users will be hard to make decision to choose a tablet or notebook between Chuwi HI13 and Surface Laptop. So let’s know their comparison between Chuwi HI13 and Surface Laptop.

Design

Chuwi HI13 and Microsoft Surface Laptop both have 13.5 inch screen, but the former has 3000 x 2000 resolution, 267 PPI, the latter with  2256 x 1504 pixels, 201 PPI. In terms of screen, higher resolution screen will bring better and more clear images quality and more suitable for watching TV or movies. So Chuwi HI13 seems to win one point over Surface Book. About the interfaces, Chuwi HI13 has 1*USB Type-C, 2*USB Tyep-A (3.0 & 2.0) ,1*Micro USB, 1*Micro HDMI, 1*Keyboard docking Slot, 1*micro SD, 1*Headphone Port, while Surface Laptop has USB 3.0 full size,mini display port,headset jack. So Chuwi HI13 has rich interfaces that you need.

Hardware

Chuwi HI13 is powered by  7th Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 Processor,Intel HD 500 GPU, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 128GB by a TF card, but Surface Lapbook comes with 5th Intel I5 processor, Intel HD620 GPU, RAM 4GB ROM 128GB. in general, Intel i5 processor will be better than Apollo lake N3450 processor,  so Surface Laptop will be definitely more powerful than Chuwi HI13 in performance.

Features

Chuwi HI13 runs latest Windowns 10 OS, so does Surface Laptop, the former has dual camera, 2MP front and 5MP back one, but Surface Laptop comes with 720P HD front camera. Chuwi HI13 suports detachable docking keyboard which can become a 2in1 tablet pc, but Surface Laptop doesn’t support.

Conclusion
