Although they are a relatively small company, Chuwi has been impressing us with low cost-notebooks, that don’t have all of the normal drawbacks of low-cost notebooks. That isn’t the case across their entire lineup, the lapbook 14.1, and the lapbook 12.3, are both great devices in their class and are easy to recommend. Chuwi is now trying to climb the price ladder a bit with their latest LapBook Air, which is available for now for $430 USD. After the tremendously successful SurBook campaign on Indiegogo with over 1 million dollars raised. Now CHUWI is making its second attempt with its upgraded tablet the CoreBook, whose campaign shall be initiated around mid-November 2017.
The New corebook looks like it will maybe thinner, and lighter than previous models. The new 13.3inchs 5D glass design is used on CoreBook, coupled with OGS fully laminated technology to reduce the air refraction, so that the image is more vivid and brighter. Thanks to the full lamination technology, better outdoor viewing experience.
Chuwi has stuck with the same platform they are using in most of their recent LapBook models, which is the Intel Celeron N3450. But this is an Intel Core M3 7Y30 processor base CPU, which is the first device that’s using Intel Core 7th gen processor from CHUWI and our reviews of it show that it can make for a laptop that can easily handle day to day tasks. The new Core M3 7Y30 processor proof is that it excelled in playing games and running various kinds of software and delivered surprisingly amazing performance.
Corebook will have 6GB of RAM compared to their other models, to 6 GB, and they’ve also doubled the storage from the 64 GB in other lapbook models, to 128 GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Regardless, 128 GB is a reasonable amount for a low-end system and should be adequate for most people. Chuwi Corebook display is 1920×1080, FHD resolution with 4K video hardware decoding support.
Corebook It’s a tablet, also a notebook. With 2-in-1 keyboard adopted high-quality synthetic materials, the angle adjustment is infinite and the maximum can reach to 165 degrees. It’s a full-size keyboard when opening up, yet a neat protective cover closing up, thus to provide safety protection on the device, but we’ll have to see when we get our hands on this device.
It’s Touch ID technology Make your CoreBook safer than ever Unlock your CoreBook with Touch ID directly into the user interface, no more password. Furthermore, features like Windows Hello is usable and at the bottom of the front, a great new territory is coming.
Quick charge & lasting battery life It actually lasts for a day, Half day’s required battery will be completely charged thanks to 12V/3A fast charge, right after you enjoy a cup of coffee . 37Wh high-density battery promises a care-free day
