Recently, the campaign of Chuwi AeroBook Pro 15.6 on Indiegogo is coming to the end. Since it has been launched on Indiegogo, the model has attracted a lot of attention from consumers. Up to now, It has been supported by nearly 700 backers and already reached the initial goal.
However, today Chuwi has just announced a new fundraising target extension: if $400K is reached, the company will mount a new WiFi module on the laptop that will double the connection speed.
Faster Wireless Network
The WiFi module that the AeroBook Pro 15.6 currently mounts is the Intel AC 3165, which has a download speed of 433 Mbps. With the update proposed by Chuwi, this module will be replaced by the Intel AC 7265. This chip offers a speed of 867 Mbps, that is, twice as fast.
In addition, with this new module the stability of the connection will be improved and the range of WiFi signals that the laptop supports will be expanded, as specified by the company.
4K High Performance, Comprehensive Laptop
Under the hood, there’s an Intel Core i5 6287U processor with 3.5GHz of maximum clocking speed. While its RAM is 8GB with a 256GB SSD. The Iris 550 graphics card is powerful enough to handle graphics-intensive tasks easily. The highlight, however, will be its screen, a 15.6-inch 4K UHD panel (3840 x 2160 pixels).
It comes with 100% sRGB color coverage, 10-bit color depth, the pixel density of 282PPI, a maximum brightness of 340 nits, and over 1.07 billion bright colors. The datasheet is also completed by a 55Wh battery, USB Type-C interfaces, and free M.2 SSD slot to expand storage.
