Two months after ChatGPT landed on iOS, Android users can finally use ChatGPT on their phones!
Today, OpenAI has fulfilled its previous commitment and launched the ChatGPT APP on Google Play, which supports users to download it for free.
From the current official information, the Android version of ChatGPT has no significant differences in function with the previous iOS version, and users can freely ask AI questions to get answers, guidance or suggestions.
Compared to the web version of GPT, the release of the official APP will undoubtedly make it easier for more people to access and use ChatGPT.
However, as was the case when the iOS version was just launched, the Android version of the App on the line is not currently on the line in the whole region, but only in the United States, India, Bangladesh, Brazil four countries open for download.
Considering that the iOS version of ChatGPT has since greatly expanded the downloadable regions, the Android version of this launch should also start landing in more regions soon.
According to data.ai, ChatGPT hit 500,000 downloads in just six days after landing on iOS.
In the face of a larger user base of the Android ecosystem, ChatGPT is expected to achieve better results.
