Called "Trails & Tales," Minecraft 1.20 update was officially announced

The title of Minecraft’s next major version update 1.20 was announced today — “Trails & Tales“.

Mojang Studios revealed the name of the update during a special livestream event on Thursday, and said the update will focus on player expression and world representation, introducing new MOBS, biome, blocks, and game mechanics.

Mojang Studios said the Minecraft 1.20 edition is an update of player expression, World representation, Focus on making Minecraft a Minecraftier experience.

The update will introduce moths like Camel and Sniffer, introduce new game mechanics like archaeology, and introduce new blocks like bamboo and cherry wood suits and decorations like hanging logos and armor decorations.

Minecraft 1.20 “Trails & Tales” is coming to all platforms later this year on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
