Batteries are the weak spot of today’s smart devices and even though the rest of the hardware has greatly reduced its consumption, it still can’t make up for the low run time. The Blackview R7 went through a battery test and it seems that its 3,000mAh battery did pretty good.
The 3,000mAh, Li-Polymer battery gave the device a 14 days standby time, which also shows a well tuned software without any battery drain. Other durations from the test are the following:
Talk Time: 14h
Web-surfing: 8h
HD Video-playing: 7h
Audio-playing: 10h
Standby: 14 days
Charging Time: 1.5h
Apart from the battery, the device carries a 5.5” FHD 1920*1080 2.5D arc display, Helio P10 deca-core SoC along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The fingerprint recognition sensor is on the back panel as is the 13.0MP rear camera. The selfie camera is an 8MP one. The Blackview R7 supports 9V 2.5A fast charge technology as well. And all this for $199.99, now reduced to $164.99 on a sales event that starts tomorrow, July 26th until August 2nd, 7 days only.
