As recent rumors pointed out, based on a publication by Xiaomi’s own CEO, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing a revised version of its gaming smartphone, possibly called the Black Shark 3S. Now, a new leak by the Chinese origin informant Digital Chat Station reveals to us through Weibo that this specific model will only be released in a standard model. In other words, no Pro version for the Black Shark 3S.
The informant adds that the Pro model released in the Black Shark 3 line will be launched with future new generations of Black Shark devices that will be released at the beginning of each year. The above then confirms that the Black Shark 4 from 2021 should have a Pro version.
So far, practically nothing is known about the technical specifications of the new Black Shark 3S. The company’s CEO only offered us the first clue of the future gaming terminal a few days ago.
The leak also confirms that the Black Shark 3S is expected to be revealed soon, but does not offer details about its settings. Anyway, the expectation is that the new device will bring a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, AMOLED screen with a high update rate, stereo speakers, in addition to at least 65W of fast charging.
Remember that Xiaomi will face stiff competition this year, not only from ASUS, which this week announced its ROG Phone 3 with powerful specifications but also from Lenovo, which debuted in the gamer market with its Legion Phone Duel, offering an optimized experience for horizontal use. Finally, the manufacturer Nubia will also participate with the launch of the Red Magic 5S.
