Beelink is the first brand to announce a Box with this new Chip, the Beelink GT1-King TV BOX that will also bring Android 9.0. The new SoC Amlogic S922X is a chip that we saw the first Benchmarks weeks ago and that will be a good step forward in terms of power and video quality compared to the previous generation.
The Beelink GT1-King TV BOX includes the commented SoC Amlogic S922X, a Hexa Core manufactured in 12nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 1.8Ghz + 2 Cortex-A53 RAM processors that reach 1.9Ghz. The GPU is an ARM Mali-G52 MP6 (improved over the announced MP4) with a maximum speed of 846MHz compatible with OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.0 that allows us to run powerful games such as PUBG without problems.
At the VPU level, we have the Amlogic Video Engine (AVE-10) with all types of HDR support, Dolby Vision, Advanced HDR10, HDR10 +, HLG, PRIME HDR and support for REC709 / BT2020 profiles. We also have digital audio DAC integrated into the audio aspect. The RAM is 4GB LPDDR4 and the storage in principle is of the eMMc type with a capacity of 64GB expandable thanks to a microSD card reader that we have on one side.
In terms of wireless connectivity, the Beelink GT-King has WiFi MiCM AC and Bluetooth 4.2 with an internal antenna. At the level of interfaces, we observed two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 OTG port, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, an SPDIF digital audio output, an HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack at the perimeter of the plastic box.
Among the accessories in addition to cable and feeder, we will have a remote control by radiofrequency that in this occasion will include gyroscope to handle the pointer (confirmed). The new Beelink GT1-King TV BOX with Amlogic S922X SoC will arrive in mid-April to stores at a price that we do not know at the moment.
