ASUS will officially release its new Zenfone 6 on May 16 this year. Prior to this, XDA exposed several new phones that were also from Asus. And released the real phone photo.
The two phones are called Zenfone Max Plus M2, Zenfone Max Shot. Although the usage is not as novel as the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 4.2 of Nokia’s overseas models, the combination of these two phones is somewhat confusing. At the end of last year, Asus also launched the Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2) models.
The real phone diagram on the Brazilian telecommunications regulator Anatel shows that the two new phones are made of metal on the back and polycarbonate covers on the top and bottom. The Zenfone Max Plus M2 is dual-camera with a vertical design; the Zenfone Max Shot is three-shot, and the “Shot” in the name of the phone should refer to the camera’s camera performance.
Additional information includes the Max Shot with a microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. The Max Plus M2 design is similar. The ASUS ZenFone Max Plus M2 will come standard with 32GB of internal storage and the Max Shot will come with 64GB of storage.

These are all known specifications for both phones. XDA also spit in the end:
Although the device name may have been fixed, I hope that ASUS will reconsider its brand strategy and make their home devices easier to distinguish.
