Previously, Asus would release the first Snapdragon 835 smartphone at CES 2017, but the truth is that Asus has released its first RAM 8GB smartphone, today Asus released two smartphones called Asus Zenfone AR and Zenfone 3 Zoom with much features for AR and VR field.
Let’s know Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom smartphone first, which aims at photographing, it has 5.5 inch 1080P screen, powered by Snapdragon 625 processor, RAM 4GB, 7.9 mm thickness, built in 5,000mAh battery, running Android 6.0 OS.
Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is outstanding for two rear camera, one is 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 25mm wide viewing angle, the other is 12MP camera with 56mm special lens, which can support 2.3 times optical zoom fast, the photographer can choose suitable lens fast according to different theme and focal length, meanwhile, it can provide dual Pixel PDAF, auto-focus, and second generation laser auto-focus.
As for Zenfone AR, which is the real flagship smartphone, based on Google Project Tango, and it can also support Daydream VR, which is the first global smartphone to support Google Tango and Daydream at the same time, the other big bestselling is that it is the first RAM 8GB smartphone. It comes with 5.7 inch 2K screen, powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, RAM 8GB, dual camera with front 8MP and 23MP back camera with Sony IMX318, built in 3,300mAh battery, as for release date, it should be available to sell until April, 2017, and Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom will be released in February, 2017 in China.
