Last May, Asustek released two flagship phones, the Zenfone 8/8 Flip. After more than a year, Asustek will unveil its new small-screen flagship Zenfone 9 on July 28. Yesterday, a blogger exposed the complete configuration of the phone.
Asus Zenfone 9 will feature a 5.92-inch AMOLED screen with a 2400×1080 screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to the blogger @Perfect Layout Digital. In terms of performance, it is equipped with Snapdragon 8+Gen1 processor, and the storage specifications can be 8GB+128/256GB or 16GB+256GB, without the common 12GB memory option.
In terms of appearance, Asus Zenfone 9 has a cut-out design on the upper left and a wide bezel on the chin. Dual camera set at rear, with “09” logo under the module, plus ASUS Zenfone in the lower right, indicating that it is ASUS Zenfone 9. Despite being a small-screen flagship, Asus Zenfone 9 is 9.45mm thick and weighs only 165g.
In terms of image, Asus Zenfone 9 has a 12 megapixel SONY IMX663 camera on the front, a 50 megapixel 1/1.56 inch IMX766 main camera and a 12 megapixel IMX368 ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear. The main camera is equipped with 6-axis gimbal optical buffeting (OIS) and supports light trace mode.
In terms of battery life, Asus Zenfone 9 uses a 4300mAh battery and 30W quick charge solution. Other configuration, the machine adopts side fingerprint design, has 3.5mm headphone jack, IP68 dust and water proof and NFC.

IGeekphone has learned that Asustek officials leaked a promotional video for the ZenFone 9 on July 7. The video shows the ZenFone 9 available in red, blue, black and gray, but no pricing information is available. It is worth mentioning that the power button of the machine has a unique design, by sliding the power key area it can complete the mobile phone page turning.
