Phones with small screens seem to be back in fashion. In recent years, mobile phone manufacturers have launched small-screen flagships to cover a wider range of consumers. The upcoming Asus ZenFone 8 Mini will feature a 5.92-inch FHD+ resolution OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate to target smaller phones, according to the report. At the same time, it will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, with a rear dual camera configuration, with a main camera pixel of 64 million.
The larger flagship will have a 6.67-inch screen, the same Snapdragon 888 processor, and the same 64 megapixel camera. In addition, the ZenFone 8 is expected to feature a 12-megapixel secondary camera and retain the iconic flipping screen design.
Last August, Asus launched the new ZenFone 7 series, but this year the company’s ROG mobile phone 5 was released much earlier, so the timing of the new ZenFone could change as well.

On the ground, however, these phones have not performed well enough in the market compared to their peers. Since the start of the 5G era, 5G phones have been sucking up power faster. In this case, equipped with large capacity batteries become a trend.
