Last year, ASUS launched the flagship smartphone ZenFone 6 (ASUS 6Z) with a full-screen design and a unique rotating camera system. Recently, a report from TNNToday revealed that the company may soon launch the Asus ZenFone 7 series.
The source states that the ZenFone 7 will be available in two versions. It will include the basic model and an advanced version called ZenFone 7 Pro. The phones will come according to the source in white and black.
The ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro are expected to inherit the camera system brought to the market by ZenFone 6. Last year’s model was released with an AMOLED screen without holes or notches. Instead, the rear camera could be reversed at a flip mechanism to act as a front camera.
The ZenFone 7 series can also feature a fingerprint scanner on the screen. With SD865 it will also have support for 5G connectivity. There is currently no information on the other specifications of the series. The publication states that it will have a lower price than the upcoming gaming smartphone ASUS ROG Phone 3 which is scheduled to be released on July 22. The phone may reach India as ASUS 7z.
In June, a mysterious Asus ZF phone was found in Geekbench. The list revealed that it is a phone with SD865 and 16GB of RAM. The phone ran on Android 10 and scored 973 and 3346 on the Geekbench 5’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
